Alta’s got three more days left for you to ski this season from Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25. Then they officially close and season passes go on sale on May 3rd.

The skier’s only mountain has revealed some changes for next season, too. One such change will likely be a weekend and holiday paid parking reservation system which Alta says they’re implementing to “improve the Alta skiing experience and reduce canyon congestion.”

On top of this parking reservation system next season, Alta pass holders have access to the following perks:

• Weekend & holiday parking reservation benefits
• New Family & Friends benefits
• 50% off day tickets at 26 partner resorts
• $269 Ikon Base add-on

Alta Ski Area wrote in a press release shared on April 21, 2021:

Lift Tickets are available for purchase for our final weekend. Season Pass pricing is now available for the 2021-22 season. Alta is a skier’s only mountain. Snowboarding is not allowed.

With the launch of season passes for next winter, it’s important to recognize the parking challenges highlighted this season at Alta. Thank you for your feedback and patience, we are working to implement a weekend & holiday paid parking reservation system in order to improve the Alta skiing experience and reduce canyon congestion.

Alta passholders have access to the following perks:

Peace-of-Mind Purchasing

Peace-of-Mind purchasing means that Alta will provide a full refund, no questions asked, for unused 2021-22 Season Passes until December 1st, 2021. Refunds will be compensated at the dollar amount paid.

  1. Alta is so lame, the sooner everyone realizes it, the sooner they can quit getting away with strong arming public parking and public land interests.
