Brought to you by Alta Ski Area
Report from February 20, 2021
This week at Alta Ski Area in Utah, we got 100 inches of snow in 7 days!ย Alta was closed on 2/16 and 2/17 due to avalanche danger and Little Cottonwood Canyon was closed from 2/16 to 2/18. I was finally able to get up to Alta today to enjoy some leftover powder. As to be expected on a Saturday powder day, the Collins chair line was much too long for us.
We spent most of our day soaking up the powder on our favorite tree runs off of the Sunnyside chair. We also had a blast lapping Wildcat and ripping the groomers. It looks like we will still get a good amount of snow this coming week, so keep shredding and stay safe out there if you’re going out of bounds!
