Brought to you by Alta Ski Area
Report from February 20, 2021
We made it out to Alta Ski Area, UT at about 1pm today.
This was only 2nd day Alta has been fully open to the public since getting 100″ of snow in 7-days and going through a 60-hour “interlodge” – their longest ever.
It was busy.
We waited for the Collins chair and went straight to High Rustler – Hi Boy.
It was good.
It’s a world-class run and the snow was good, chopped up, packed down powder.
From there we went to Wildcat where the lines were shorter.
Skier’s left of the chair was skiing wonderfully.
We did 2 laps there in high-quality chowder.
From there we did one more lap on Collins – right under the chair.
Again, great snow.
It was cold towards the end of the day and we were satisfied and headed home.
We ate dinner at Tosh’s Ramen and it was damn good.
Another great day at Alta.
