For the first time in the resort’s history, Arizona Snowbowl in northern Arizona will offer skiing and riding into June. The resort near Flagstaff, Arizona, announced that it is extending its ski season yet again and will be open on Saturday, June 1. The resort had previously extended the season to May 19, then to Memorial Day, May 27, and now has added another day of sliding, marking the first time the resort is open in June.

The Arizona resort has received 281 inches of snowfall this season, and with 55 inches alone falling in April, conditions right now are still incredible. On average, Snowbowl sees 207 inches of snowfall.

Mark your calendar for this historic occasion of June skiing in Arizona. The Arizona Gondola will be the only lift spinning for both Memorial Day weekend and closing day, June 1. Please be advised that this means access will only be to advanced terrain from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. Lift tickets are available for as low as $19 if you book online.

Snowbowl will also offer Scenic Gondola Rides and Sunset Gondola Rides during Memorial Day weekend and Closing Day. Scenic Gondola Rides will be offered May 24-27 and June 1, while Sunset Gondola Rides will be offered on May 24 and 25. Scenic Gondola tickets are available for as low as $20 and Sunset Gondola tickets are available for as low as $29 when purchased online and in advance.
With the extended opening until June 1, Snowbowl is setting a record for the longest season ever, beating last year’s record.
