Aspen One is proud to announce the return of its local housing initiative, Tenants for Turns, which is now entering its fourth year. Designed to serve the mountain’s winter workforce, Tenants for Turns continues to incentivize Roaring Fork Valley homeowners to lease their guest houses, ADUs, mother-in-law units, or spare bedrooms to Aspen Snowmass, Aspen Hospitality, and ASPENX employees. Since its inception, the program has played a vital role in alleviating Aspen’s housing challenges, successfully accommodating 193 employees during the previous season alone. The program launches today for homeowner-landlord applications.

Heather Henry is enthusiastic about the program in her new role as Vice President of Housing and Childcare at Aspen One. “The dual advantages of this program are spectacular. Landlords benefit from ski incentives and rental income while contributing to the community’s housing solution,” she said. “Our employee tenants enjoy stable housing, a true way to feel welcomed into the local community. The program is a resilient solution for housing many individuals during our valley’s busiest times, ensuring fully staffed mountains. We extend our gratitude to everyone who partakes in the program’s growth and service.”

Approved landlords of the Tenants for Turns program can select from several incentives for the upcoming ski season. Options include an Aspen Snowmass Premier Pass, 10 transferable single-day lift tickets, or a $1,500 gift certificate to Aspen Snowmass. These offers apply exclusively to new leases starting after October 1, 2024. Returning landlords opting for the Premier Pass or single-day lift tickets will receive an additional two single-day lift tickets.

Employees interested in applying as winter tenants can view available rentals on Aspen.com. Employee homeowners or landlords are also eligible for the program and can receive the lift ticket or gift certificate incentive benefits for rooms rented to fellow employees.

Interested homeowners, landlords, and employees can visit the website for more information on the Tenants for Turns program and reach the Talent Acquisition team at (970) 300-7700 or talentacquisition@aspensnowmass.com. Lease terms will be determined by the lessor and employee but will need to contain certain basic parameters to trigger the incentive package upon verification of the lease by Aspen Snowmass. All lease terms are carefully reviewed and subject to denial upon application to the program.
