Google just revealed its annual Year in Search, ranking the most searched trends in 2024. There are over 8.5 billion searches per day on Google. It keeps track of what people are looking for on the internet, including the top trending travel destinations of 2024. Banff, Alberta, Canada, was on the list two times for the categories of Top Trending Destinations and Honeymoon Destinations and is the only ski destination in North America to appear in the trends.
The town of Banff is nestled high in the Canadian Rockies within Banff National Park. Banff has attracted visitors from around the world for decades. Towering mountains surround it, and the town is alive with adventure and opportunities to experience wonder.
