This is an edit I put together from January 4th, 2013 at Big Sky, Montana. I was there a week and only got to see Lone Peak one day because it was snowing every other day. 1/4/2014 was a real deep powder day, which is when all of the footage in that edit was shot. The storm totaled about 7-12″ in some areas, but because Big Sky is known for the shortest lift lines in the country it felt much deeper!
Everyday this week we received anywhere from 1-7″ inches of fresh snow, and every single day we found fresh tracks, in bounds at Big Sky! My last day skiing in Montana I was treated to a day at the Yellowstone club. The conditions were absolutely phenomenally superb, as to be expected. Every single run was at least knee deep. Multiple runs were waist deep face shots.
