VIDEO: Big White Ski Resort, BC, Reminds Us of Off-Season Mountain Safety and That Uphill Access Is Closed

SnowBrains | | Post Tag for Industry NewsIndustry News

Big White Ski Resort, BC, is closed for the winter season, and we look forward to welcoming guests to the mountain, July 1, 2021.

Please do not enter the Alpine area above the Village for any reason. We currently have teams working with machinery to clear areas of snow to help the melt for bike trails etc. There is an enormous amount of unmarked hazards, including rocks, jumps, and cliffs.

If you have ANY questions about the nature of our tenure, please contact our Senior Manager, Major Projects in the Mountain Resorts Branch at the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development Tori Meeks. She can be emailed at tori.meeks@gov.bc.ca.

Please stay on the areas that we have outlined and do NOT head out on the mountain at this time for your own safety. There is NO uphill access at the resort at this time. The mountain is closed.
