Boreal Mountain in Lake Tahoe, California will be open today from 12pm – 8pm. Beginning on Friday, they’ll be open from 9am – 9pm everyday until the end of the season.
Boreal is the 2nd ski resort to open in California this season behind Mammoth’s opening on November 13th. They’ll have the Castle Peak Quad running with some park features. They’ve gotten 13″ of snow this season and they have a 12″ base on the runs that are open right now.
Boreal did open up over a week ago from November 7th – 10th, but warm temperatures shut things down. Now, they’re open again and they plan on staying open until the end of the season.
The Andy Hays will surely be out there and we’ll try to get a report from him.
BOREAL PRESS RELEASE:
Your snow dances have worked! We’ll continue our operations for the 2014-15 Season on Tuesday, November 18 with one run and 8 terrain park features accessed by the Castle Peak Quad chairlift. Lift tickets will be $39 for Adults (18+) and Teens (13-17). Child lift tickets will be only $29. GAME ON!
TODAY’S AVAILABLE SERVICES:
- Guests may pick-up season passes at Mountain Services, open from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
- The Woodward Tahoe Bunker will continue daily operations with hours from 11:00am – 8:00pm.
- Moondoe’s Cafe, located in the Woodward Tahoe Bunker, is open serving specialty coffees, sandwiches and other snacks.
THIS WEEK’S OPERATIONS:
12:00pm – 8:00pm, Tuesday (Nov. 18) – Thursday (Nov. 20)
9:00am – 9:00pm, Friday (Nov. 21) through the rest of the season
