Canadian freestyle moguls skier Brayden Kuroda has died suddenly, Freestyle CBC News said on Tuesday, Feb. 18. He was 19.
Kuroda was a Penticton, B.C. native who debuted in the world cup last year. He passed away suddenly on Monday, Freestyle Canada said in a news release. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
Kuroda has been described as a special young man with an infectious style, CBC News said. He made his World Cup debut on his 19th birthday only three weeks ago, finishing 34th in Mont-Tremblant, Que. He had exceptional potential for the future with his freestyle career.
His family and fellow moguls skiers mourn his passing. May he ski in peace.
