It’s everyones favorite day of the week once again, but to make things better we have snow in the forecast for much of the country, and some music that we here at Snowbrains would like to share with you. This week we think a hip-hop group by the name of Chiddy Bang belongs on that riding playlist we’ve all been working on for the past few months. Coming out of Philadelphia PA, Chiddy Bang was a pop-rap group that produced some creative music using alternative samples from artist such as Ellie Goulding, and MGMT. With a fun, fast, and upbeat sound, Chiddy Bang brings a fun sound to the hip-hop world, and makes for some fun music to ride to.
Chiddy Bang formed in 2008 and consisted of Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege & Noah “Xaphoon Jones” Beresin. The duo produced two studio albums, The Preview, and Breakfast, before breaking up to pursue solo careers. In April of 2011, Chiddy broke the world records for longest continuos rap as well as longest freestyle rap by rapping nonstop for 9 hours, 18 minutes, and 22 seconds at MTV’s inaugural O Music Awards in Las Vegas. With creative lyrics, and entertaining music videos, Chiddy Bang is worth checking out, and make for some good riding music.
