Music Mondays | Jet After a brief hiatus, Music Mondays is back once again. After a long time away we want to bring you a band many of you may be familiar with, but may not know a lot of their songs, and that band is Jet. While the Aussie band Jet, out of Melbourne Australia, is well known for their hits such as “Cold Hard Bitch”, and “Are You Gonna be my Girl”, much of their catalogue is unknown to most. With great lyrics, and riffs with an old school classic rock feel, Jet is one of the best bands you will ever listen to, and one of my favorite. Jet formed in 2001 in Melbourne Australia, with Cameron Muncey as the lead guitarist, Mark Wilson on bass, and brothers Nic and Chris Cester on rhythm guitar […] Jesse Cassidy | June 30, 2014 0 Comments

Music Mondays | Stromae Stromae, or Paul Van Haver, is a Belgian singer-songwriter who creates exceptional music in the electronic and hip-hop genres. While all his songs are in French, if you are not familiar with the language it sounds like gibberish, however, the producing and flow of the songs still make it enjoyable, even to the untrained ear. Music Mondays: James Blake This guy is a little different then your average englishmen.brings a whole new sound to the table which is honestly quite refreshing. His name is James Blake and yes he is from London. You could say he first showed up on the scene in the UK in 2008 but he didn’t really start seeing the spot light till he released his self proclaimed album in 2011. Ever sense then he has picked up speed and has produced some great tracks. Blake’s transy and dream like sounds paired with some great vocals creates a post-dubstep like fell. Bottom line is James Blake can lay down some beats. […] Guest Author | February 24, 2014 0 Comments
