Summer might be at its peak, but Utah’s Snowbasin Resort is already looking forward to next winter with the construction of its newest DeMoisy Express chairlift.
The addition of DeMoisy Express was announced in December with the promise of doubling the uphill capacity to Snowbasin’s popular Strawberry side of the resort through the six-chair, highspeed installation, expected to be complete ahead of the 2023-24 ski season.
Construction of DeMoisy has commenced, with the lift line cleared, tower holes excavated, and cement trucks pouring the foundation.
The next phase in the construction of the lift is to helicopter in its towers, according to the resort.
