Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Colorado, announced on Thursday, January 25, that the resort has opened both Third Bowl and the Peak for the season. The opening gives access to some of the resort’s most iconic extreme terrain. With these terrain openings, the entire mountain is now available to ski and ride, aside from Teocalli 2 Bowl.

Crested Butte Ski Patrol has been dropping the ropes on the resort’s famed Extremes left and right following the massive snowstorm earlier this month that brought more than 4 feet of snow to Crested Butte. Since that big storm, the resort has been able to open nearly 500 acres of Extreme terrain to the public. The skiing and riding is so good, and there is still plenty more winter ahead of us!
