This weekend will be big at Squaw Valley. It’ll be the last weekend of KT-22 and the lower mountain and the Cushing Crossing will go down. Last year, Squaw had a celebrity judges panel with Johnny Moseley and more. This year, it sounds like it’s back to simply being the most fun event of the year at Squaw. This definitely gonna be a fun weekend to drink beer, laugh, and hang out.
THE CUSHIING CROSSING 2013:
– Grand Prize = 2013/14 adult bronze season pass for Squaw & Alpine.
– $100 will be awarded to first prize in each category
– First 50 people to register will get a crack at crossing the pond
– $100 for highest score on skinny skis
– $100 for most creative run (successful crossing not required)
The answer to the question in the title is “almost.” The Pain McShlonkey Classic is now the best event of the year at Squaw. But before the PMS, the Cushing Crushing was king.
