Report from December 26,2020

A Winter Storm Warning was issued for the Teton Range including Jackson Hole, WY today.

They saw 3″ of new snow overnight and it snowed all day today.

I showed up at 1pm hoping for a fun snowy afternoon and that’s just what I got.

I had a blast bouncing around in the trees off the Teton chair.

Soft moguls in the trees usually isn’t my thing, but I had the whole zone to myself and there were no lift lines on Teton and I had an absolute blast in those trees.

Jackson Hole has a little park right now and I spent some time in there at the end of the day and that thing is fun.

I threw my first 360ºs of the season.

Felt good!

It’s supposed to snow a lot tonight…

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with locally higher amounts of 12 to 15 inches over the Tetons. 11 inches have fallen so far over portions of the Tetons.

  • NOAA, 12/26/20

Fingers crossed!
