Temperatures in Jackson, WY plummeted to 25 below zero on Thursday, February 20, equalling a 65-year-old record for the date. In 1955, the mercury also dropped to -25ºF.

According to Buckrail, the coldest temperature ever recorded in Jackson during the last 10 days of February was -32ºF, on February 29, 1960, and the coldest temperature EVER recorded in Jackson during February was -48ºF, way back on February 9, 1933.
