The United States’ second medal of the Beijing Winter Games was won by Grand Targhee’s Jaelin Kauf, 25, on Sunday.
Kauf finished second in the women’s moguls final at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics finishing just behind Australia’s Jakara Anthony and ahead of Russia’s Anastasiia Smirnova.

Kauf, 25, scored 80.28 at the Genting Snow Park behind Anthony’s 83.09. Team USA’s Olivia Giaccio finished sixth in the competition.
Kauf’s silver was the second medal for Team USA after snowboarder Julia Marino won silver in the women’s slopestyle event.
