June Mountainย ski area in the Eastern Sierra of California will re-open tomorrow for the first time since 2012. ย June Mountain was closed for the season last year for the first and only time ever. ย June had been in operation for over 50 years since it’s inaugural season in 1962.
June Mountain offers access to some of the best backcountry skiing from a ski resort anywhere in the country.
JUNE MOUNTAIN OPENING DAY OPERATIONS:
- June Mountain reopens for the 2013-14 season, following it’s closure in 2012-13 for financial reasons
- Lift tickets for opening day will be available for $10
- June will be FREE for kids 12 and under, every day, all season long
- Mammoth Mountain pass holders will also ski June for freeย
- New family experience includes themed programming on weekends and a new parent’s lounge
- June season passes available starting at $399
