Vermontโs Killington Resort, the largest ski and snowboard resort in Eastern North America and part of POWDR, celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the elusive 100 Day Club on Feb. 12, 2022, day 100 of the 2021-22 season.
The 100 Day Club is a badge of honor for Killington Resort regulars. As part of the club, guests receive an exclusive hat, sticker, commemorative poster, a private party at the Wobbly Barn, and some serious bragging rights. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the club, and 20 skiers are expected to join the 10 Year Club with at least 1,000 days of skiing and riding over the last decade at Killington Resort.
The club was founded in 2012 by Robert Kovalesky, who has loyally skied the Beast since 1965. He will be among the elite crowd to reach the 1,000-day milestone, and says, โIโve had the pleasure of skiing and riding and getting to know so many members, and itโs not about me, itโs about them. Itโs their incredible passion and commitment to Killington. It served as an inspiration for so many guests that weโve all met both on and off the slopes.โ
โThe 100 Day Club hits the 1,000-day mile marker this year,โ says Mike Solimano, president and general manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. โLast season more than 400 skiers and riders logged 100 days, and this year 20 of those guests hit the 10-year mark. It takes a lot of dedication to do it once but to do it every year for 10 years is pretty amazing.โ
