Skiing Powder Bliss Above A Shimmering Lake Tahoe, CA

Fox & Garret took us to a new zone yesterday.

The unknown was high and we were willing to explore.

Well, the unknown was high for me, at least.

Theyโ€™d been here before.

Trail breaking was harsh in the deep, dense snow but I was spared from partaking.

The boys took care of it.

The top section was fun.

Dense, chunky snow.

The middle section was pure gold.

I followed Fox down the first line and it was blissful.

We hooted and yipped at each other for what seemed like hoursโ€ฆ

The run was long.

Back up.

We did another one but bumped further left.

The snow was great and the terrain even better.

I was blown awayโ€ฆ

I cannot wait to come back.

I love the fact that after backcountry skiing around here for over 20 years, I just found a new go-to zone.

From the car, we drove straight to Palisades Tahoe for some lovelywind-bufff afternoon laps.

Thanks, California!
