Las Leñas, Argentina Conditions Report Videos | Marte Opened on July 6th & Yes, That’s a Rabbit

SnowBrains |

Las Leñas, Argentina has snow and now we know exactly how much.  Eduardo’s looks filled in and the Marte chairlift has begun operations for the season and appears to be in good shape, which is huge.  The first video here shows a few of the Las Leñas boys skiing backcountry lines off the Marte.  The second video here shows Las Leñas’ new marketing girl and she tells and shows us a bit about what’s up at LL.

In case you’re not familiar with Las Leñas:  If the Marte chair isn’t running, Las Leñas doesn’t have a ton of advanced freeride terrain available.  If Marte is open, the place is a smorgasbord of 4,000 foot runs ranging form wide open faces to spines to couloirs galore.

The Marte is Las Leñas for freeriders and knowing that it’s already opened for the season should trigger powder salivation in said riders.
