Loon Mountain, NH to OPEN w/ Top to Bottom Skiing Friday

Loon Mountain ski resort in New Hampshire will open Friday November 8th, 2013.  They’ll open with 35 acres & 2 miles of top to bottom skiing.  This will be a weekend only opening with lifts spinning Friday-Sunday.  Loon plans to open for the season on Friday, November 15th, 2013.

Chairs open this weekend will be White Mountain Express Gondola and the East Basin Chair.

Runs open this weekend will include Exodus, Upper Bear Claw, Grand Junction, Link, & Lower Picked Rock.  Tickets this weekend will be $49 for Adults, $39 for Teens, and $29 for Juniors and Seniors.

It’s time! I just received word that we’ll be opening for the season this Friday, November 8th!

Thanks to heroic efforts from our snowmakers, we’ll have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on five trails, making for one continuous route from the top of the Gondola to the base. Get here Friday and you’ll make first tracks on Exodus, Upper Bear Claw, Grand Junction, Link, and Lower Picked Rock. That’s more than 35 acres and 2 miles of terrain!

Please be aware that it’s still early November, so terrain and conditions will be suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders only. Downloading will be available via the Gondola.

Ticket prices Friday through Sunday will be $49 for Adults, $39 for Teens, and $29 for Juniors and Seniors.  – Loon Mountain
