In a post on Facebook yesterday Loveland Ski Area in Colorado provided some clarification on the refunds they will be offering following their early closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The resort confirmed that their workers will be able to process your refund requests over the phone from the comfort of their own homes.ย The resort WILL be offering refunds for date-specific products, including lift tickets, rentals, and lessons. There will be no refunds for unused 4-Pak tickets, but anybody with unused 4-Pak tickets will be able to use those tickets next season.

We are now working from home and can process your refunds over the phone. Please call our reservations center at (303) 571-5580 x170. We will be open Monday โ€“ Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you reach us outside of those times, please leave a message and weโ€™ll get back to you as soon as possible. Loveland will continue to offer refunds on date-specific products (lift tickets, rental packages, lessons) through April 9. 2019/2020 4-Pak tickets will be valid for the entire 2020/2021 season. There will be no refunds on 4-Pak tickets for any reason. We are still working on accommodations for 2019/2020 season pass holders. We will have more details in the coming weeks.

We appreciate your understanding and patience, and look forward to skiing and snowboarding with everyone again next season!

Many consumers though are curious about the refund policies of multi-pass companies, mainly the Epic and Ikon Passes, neither of which have yet outlined their refund/rebate policies.
