Mammoth Mountain, CA is Replacing the Iconic Summit Sign and Auctioning it for Charity (Currently $15,000)

Now is your chance to own a part of Mammoth Mountain, CA history. As you may have seen, the iconic summit sign has been replaced due to significant wear and tear over the last 21 years.

The memories at the summit over the last two decades are endless and we look forward to making new ones with you this season and beyond.

In spring 2019, the sign was cut down about 5’ in order to remove damage, and the time has come to officially replace it. The original summit sign was installed over 20 years ago and has served as a photo opportunity for scenic gondola riders, hikers, families and shredders alike.

The resort are auctioning off the original summit sign to one lucky bidder, with all proceeds benefiting the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation which provides programs and financial aid for youth academics and athletics in the Eastern Sierra. The current highest bid at the time of writing is $15,000. The auction will run for 7 days, so get your bids in!

Delivery is included within a 400-mile radius. Any other delivery logistics or installation will be discussed upon completion of auction with the buyer. The sign will be delivered as is in its current condition.
