A missing backcountry snowboarder was found alive by Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue (TNSAAR) yesterday. 

A little Christmas magic.

“The TNSAR pagers went off at 3:30am this morning with a report of missing snowboarder near Castle Peak [Donner Summit area]. Just moments ago TNSAR found the subject alive! The team snowcat is currently awaiting a handoff to reunite the missing person with their family. It will be a Merry Christmas for this individual for sure.
