A Montana woman has been charged with second-degree murder after admitting to pushing her husband off a cliff in Glacier National Park, Montana on July 7th, 2013. ย The incident happened on the parkโs well know Loop Trail.
The husband, 25-year-old Cody Johnson, and wife, 22-year-old Jordan Graham, had been married only one week before the incident took place. ย They were reportedly involved in an argument when she pushed him off a cliff.
“Graham turned and began to walk away. She stated Johnson grabbed her by the arm. Graham turned and removed Johnsonโs hand from her arm. After removing Johnsonโs hand from her arm, Graham stated she could have just walked away, but due to her anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff.” – affidavit from case
The wife didnโt report anything at all directly after the incident. ย The husband eventually was reported as missing. ย The wife then lied to police telling them that sheโd last seen him leaving their house with friends.
Then, days later, she reported to the police that sheโd found his body in the park. ย She again lied to the police telling them that โIt was a place he wanted to see before he diedโ as an explanation of how she knew where to find his body.
A few more days later she admitted to having pushed him off the cliff on the Loop Trail in Glacier National Park.
โNobody is shocked at all. ย Sheโd been telling people she knew she never wanted to be married, she just wanted to have a wedding, and thatโs apparently what they were arguing about.โ – Husbandโs family friendย Tracey Maness told The Missoulian
I agree with Sharpy’s statement – quite profound. And detectives can found find out if your not telling the truth. It’s quite a weird thing to hear you just want a wedding.
She should of just went to Vegas and asked someone if they wanted to do a wedding (joke) if that is possible – (how messed up) for his life. She deserves doing time, unless she is mentally ill. I do a lot of mountain stuff; she belongs in a city.
Sad. Lets push her off a cliff.
Freaky.
Kinda scary. How many other wives feel this way?
all of them. watch your back!
should have been the perfect crime, except for what? conscience? weak sentimentality. hahaha. I have to guess they both got what they deserved, you don’t marry that woman without knowing something about her rage, or you’re an idiot and might as well jump. f’d up non news item though.
