The forecasted storm dropped a little more snow on Mount Bachelor, OR than was expected over the weekendโโso much so the resort had to close its bike park for the day.

As the storm was rolling in over the weekend lift operations were suspended. Come Monday higher elevations were under a layer of snow, enough to bring “operational challenges”, reports ktvz. One hiker told the news channel that the snow was “ankle-deep” in places.

The base area didn’t receive much snow, and bike park crews were manually clearing trails rather than wait for natural melt.
