Mt. Baker will reopen on Tuesday.

Mt. Baker has already seen 421″ of snowfall this season and it’s been unreal.

“UPDATE: Mt. Baker will be in full weekend operation Saturday (with Chair 8 operating too!) We’ve had 8 inches of new snow fall today at 26 degrees, so tomorrow should be another day of deep powder fun! However, forecasts are calling for the weather to take a turn Sunday, with snow levels expected to rise above 6,000 feet Sunday morning with rain expected Sunday through Monday morning. Given this forecast of rain and warm temperatures on top of lots of fresh snow, the SKI AREA WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY. The good news is forecasts are calling for temperatures to drop Monday with good snowfall and snow levels below 3,000 by Monday night. We will RE-OPEN TUESDAY and should see a return to cold, snowy, powder conditions for Tuesday. So check your favorite forecasts and come up Saturday for another awesome day in the snow, then take a well-earned two day break and you’ll be ready to hit it again on Tuesday!” – Mt.
