Record-high temperatures were recorded at five California airports yesterday, May 26th. The NOAA reported:

....RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES BROKEN AT FRESNO AND MADERA ON 
MAY 26TH...

ON MAY 26TH, 2020, FRESNO-YOSEMITE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SET A 
RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 72 DEGREES. THIS BROKE THE OLD 
RECORD OF 68 DEGREES, WHICH WAS LAST SET FOR THE DATE IN 2014.

ON MAY 26TH, 2020, MADERA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT SET A RECORD HIGH 
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 63 DEGREES. THIS BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF 
60 DEGREES, WHICH WAS LAST SET FOR THE DATE IN 1999.

....RECORD HIGH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES SET AT MERCED, MADERA AND 
HANFORD ON MAY 26TH...

ON MAY 26TH, 2020, THE HIGH TEMPERATURE AT MERCED REGIONAL AIRPORT 
WAS 101 DEGREES AND BROKE THE RECORD HIGH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 
97 DEGREES LAST SET FOR THE DATE IN 2014.

ON MAY 26TH, 2020, THE HIGH TEMPERATURE AT MADERA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT 
WAS 101 DEGREES AND BROKE THE RECORD HIGH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 96 
DEGREES LAST SET FOR THE DATE IN 2005.

ON MAY 26TH, 2020, THE HIGH TEMPERATURE AT HANFORD MUNICIPAL AIRPORT 
WAS 102 DEGREES AND BROKE THE OLD RECORD HIGH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 
97 DEGREES LAST SET FOR THE DATE IN 2014.
