NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Lake Tahoe and is forecasting up to 2-feet of new snow for Tahoe on Tuesday and Wednesday. A warm, wet storm will bring heavy precipitation and snow levels around 7,000-feet and higher.
This is the exact storm we need to build our snow base at the mid and upper mountain levels. The timing of this storm couldn’t be better. C’mon Tahoe, this is your year!

Hey English, thanks for the message. Ah, this is an interesting case, isn’t it? The forecast is a future forecast, but the forecast was already forecasted, was it not? Thus, Forecast and Forecasted are somewhat interchangeable, are they not? I still struggle with this and find it fun to play with both.
Your message is duly noted. thanks
