The Pacific Northwest of the USA has only 6 ski resorts still open.  It was a strange year up there, but these resorts are still kicking and there is still fun to be had.  The higher elevation ski resorts such as Mt. Bachelor have well this year as they’ve been able to avoid lower elevation rains and hang onto the snow they have.  Bachelor still has a 94″ base a mid-mountain.

  1. At the Clearing Rock Bar at Bachelor as we speak. Taking a break after 22,0000 vertical feet today. It is snowing right now. About 3″ of new so far.

  2. Damn, March / April I wish I lived closer to a major ski area…I live near NYC and I’m not doing the 4 / 5 hour drive to a good ski area for spring conditions skiing…but if I lived nearby I could ski the 35 degree days immediately after dumps and skip the 55 degree days. I envy people that live within an hour or two of great skiing, especially great late season skiing.

Got an opinion? Let us know...
