Mammoth Mountain is under 60” of fresh snow after an early season storm delivered one the biggest November snow totals on record in the Eastern Sierra. For reference, this is already the snowiest November of the last 10 years at Mammoth—and it’s only November 9.

Mammoth will be open top-to-bottom this weekend, with access to the summit from the gondola. Canyon Lodge will also be open, with limited services

It may take some time for crews to safely open the mountain given the amount of snow. Roads in the area are looking pretty good, but checking CalTrans for the latest updates is always advised. Check MammothMountain.com for the latest terrain updates—things are going to be changing quickly over the next several days.

Happy winter!
