After receiving over two feet of snow in the most recent storm cycle, Monarch Mountain has announced it is extending its ski season. Monarchโ€™s closing day will now be Sunday, April 17, 2022.

โ€œItโ€™s important to us that we give our guests as much time as we possibly can on the hill. Itโ€™s clear that winter is not done with us yet, so weโ€™re going to keep skiing and riding,โ€ Marketing Manager Allie Stevens said.

Monarch intends to host its traditional closing weekend events. Kayaks on Snow will be on Saturday, April 16, at 11:00 am, and The Gunbarrel Challenge will be on Sunday, April 17, at 1:00 pm. More details for both events can be found at www.skimonarch.com.

Wings passes are still available allowing you to ski the rest of this season and all next season for only $569.
