Reno, NV’s David Wise Wins X-Games SuperPipe w/ Switch Double Cork

SnowBrains |

We all hear about how skiing and snowboarding are starting to look like a video game.  Johnny Moseley’s old game “Mad Tricks” literally didn’t have tricks this insane.

aDavid Wise of Reno, Nevada just won the X-Games SuperPipe with two switch tricks.  One Switch Double Cork and one Switch Cork 900.  Huh?  This is David’s 3rd SuperPipe gold in a row at the X-Games.

David Wise is living in a video game.

Congrats, David.  We met David at the Reno airport in 2010 right after he’d won the X-Games SuperPipe gold that year and the guy was crazy modest.  You’d never even know he was a skier.  David is 23-years-old, has a wife and daughter and a solid head on his shoulders.
