For the NFL offseason, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara decided to spend his time snowboarding in Montana and leave it all behind. Kamara has been documenting his experiences living and snowboarding in Big Sky country on Twitter and clearly has fallen in love with the state.
Aite so basically…. donโt invite me nowhere unless thereโs snow there. And donโt talk to me unless you live in Montana 😂😂 nahh but really, day 1 and i already got an x games invite 🤷🏾♂️🏂 pic.twitter.com/YJFNDWmYBl

A star like Kamara definitely deserves some time off after the Saints’ run to the quarterfinals in the 2021 NFL playoffs.ย According to CBS Sports, Kamara’s contributions came in the form of 1,688 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. However, fans of the Saints may be concerned about the star potentially injuring himself in the offseason, and probably hope he stays away from any X-Games-like action.
Kamara is far from the first NFL player to be seen on the slopes in the offseason. Some big-name stars have shared their own sends and crashes on social media, such as Tom Brady. Several other well-known players have also been seen skiing and riding. Kamara was very careful to ask his coach, Sean Payton, for his permission (also through Twitter), which hopefully helped put Saints fans’ minds at ease.

The 2021-22 NFL season is slated to begin in September, with the Saints opening their season against the Atlanta Falcons. In the meantime, Kamara seems likely to continue living his best life snowboarding up in Montana, hopefully staying healthy so he can help the Saints to another playoff run, and sharing his experiences with us through his tweets.
