Scott Gaffney just returned to the scene of his horror crash six weeks ago to reclaim the ski he lost while attempting to huck Eagle’s Nest at Palisades Tahoe, CA. As the video below shows, the jump didn’t exactly go to plan and Scott ended up breaking his shoulder blade and collapsing his lung.

Clearly healing well, the friend of SnowBrains and Palisades Tahoe legend managed to find his ski, and while there cleaned the place up a little too filling a rucksack with trash. Not to mention a quick tongue-in-cheek shoutout to SnowBrains CEO and founder Miles Clark.

“On the way up, I figured my favorite zone in the world—The Fingers—could probably use a little love, too, since plenty of people inadvertently litter there, as well. I eventually filled a small backpack with a couple of decaying goggles, glove liners, a glove, handwarmer pack, cans, patrol “closed” and “cliff” disks, avy bomb igniters, a mini bottle of Fireball, zero GoPros, four broken poles and one perfectly good Scott pole, guide-style with no strap. That you @miles_clark ? You beater out of Engerbretson’s all of the time, don’t you?
