The named stormed Roland will be the reason for the wintery blast. ย Temperatures will be well below average for this snow event.

Storm โ€˜Rolandโ€™ forecasted location for Monday, September 16th, 2013. ย Just about to plow into the Alps and drop some early season snow.

This early season snow is likely a touch too early to be considered base snow for the ski season, but itโ€™ll definitely be enough to get European skiers and riders in the mood.
