Saas, Fee Switzerland is a day dream…

Early storms have already rolled through the high alps and left snow on the peaks of Europe this late summer.

Saas Fee, Switzerland got a foot of new snow on their glacier last week.  It was enough for them to open their ski resort to allow for some lift accessed powder in September.  Not bad.

Saas Fee isn’t the only one open.  Passo Steivo, Hintertux, Moltal, and Zermatt are all open right now for skiing and snowboarding.

Solden, Austria plans on opening this Saturday, September 12th.

Austria is a magical, snow covered land that you need to visit and they absolutely flip for skiing and riding.  Dachstein and Pitztal will be opening up in the next month.  There are generally over 10 ski resorts open in the Alps before mid October.

Why don’t we all live in Austria, again?
