In the northern hemisphere, snow began falling across North America on ski resorts in the PNW, British Columbia, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming as summer turned to fall.Â
Snow also fell in the Alps, where a number of glacial ski areas are already open.
Ski resorts in North America hope to begin making snow within days and hopefully open within a few weeks.
