Southern Hemisphere is OPEN| Perisher, Australia OPENS Today

Vail owned Perisher ski resort in Australia is the first ski resort open in the Southern Hemisphere this year.  

Lifts Open Today:

• Village Eight Express and Carpet three will open on normal opening times.
• Playstation Slopestyle Park

Perisher is the park skiing capital of the southern hemisphere.  They build huge features and invite all the best pros in the world.  If you’re a professional park skier or rider, you’ve been to Perisher in the summer to shred.

This opening weekend you can ski and board all three days for the price of two. Make the most of 11 lifts across Perisher and Smiggin Holes with the possibility of more as conditions improve with snow in the forecast and fantastic snowmaking conditions. There will also be two terrain parks open to cater for all ages and standards of skiers and boarders.
