Southwest Airlines will be flying powder-hungry travelers this season from Denver to Montrose, Colo. in a quick 34 minutes as the commercial airliner opens a new set of flights to the heart of powder country in the Rockies.
Montrose Regional Airport is a 90-minute drive to Telluride, home to a popular and steep ski resort in southwestern Colorado.
Southwest flights from Denver to Montrose will be available three times a day starting Dec. 19. Southwest will also be offering direct flights from Dallas Love Field in Texas to Montrose once a day on weekends.
