Squaw refuses to let go of winter, with their closing date pushed back to this this upcoming Sunday. However, with only Gold Coast remaining on the schedule (due to the fact you likely won’t be able to make it down to Siberia on Saturday) this past Sunday felt a bit like closing day. People got their final rides in on Siberia (which was the first detachable quad in North America, spinning from 1985-2015), the Palisades were open and ripping, the Reverse Traverse was going off, and the snow in Shirley was disappearing at alarming rates.
- The Palisades: Main and National
- Reverse Traverse
- Mainline Pocket straightlines
- Sloppy spring shenanigans
- Northstar Bike Park is scheduled to open May 22nd
- It’s all coming to an end too soon
Unfortunately things are lining up less than ideal, but hopefully the weeks happening don’t wash away what little snow we have left before the scheduled closing day at Squaw this Sunday.
