It’s great to see Squaw back on the list. ย As the breeding ground for the greatest skiers on earth, and hosting some of the sickest terrain in the lower 48, it simply makes sense to have the worlds best prove themselves on Squaw’s legendary terrain.
The venue has not yet been announced, but it is doubtful that skiers will get a chance at the Tram Face…but who knows. ย At this point the likely candidates for the venue are Enchanted Forest off of KT, Light Towers to CII Bowl off Headwall, or perhaps the China Wall area off of Silverado. ย Regardless of the selected venue, it should be a show you won’t want to miss! (and hopefully ski in!!)

Subaru Freeride Series Schedule:

- February 19-23 – Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, CA
- March 20-23 – Telluride, CO
- April 2-7 – Big Sky, MT
This is great. There is NO REASON Squaw should have ever been left off this list. Great to have this type of event back at Squaw!!!
I really don’t think that the venue will be at squaw.. Alpine has better competition venues as far as that goes. I’m putting my money on the Buttress. but lets see
No way…Squaw definitely has more options
Super stoked to see this comp at Squaw! Cant wait to compete on my home mountain!
