VIDEO: 42-Seconds of Horribly Deep Snow in Japan Today I arrived in Japan two days ago. It’s been nuking snow, as per usual. Actually, it’s been a bit unusual. Japan just had a wild December with more snow than they’ve had in that month for over 10 years. There is more snow on the ground than there ever was at any point last season. The high snow levels of snow are translating to big pillows, groovy spines, buried bushes, and better skiing. It takes a lot of snow to tame the jungles of Japan.
