alpine meadows opening day

Alpine Meadows ski resort in Lake Tahoe, CA will open for the season tomorrow, December 12th, 2014. Alpine is expecting anywhere from 18-30″ inches of new snow tonight, the night before opening day. We suppose that they are anticipating dangerous conditions tomorrow at Alpine because they only have the fixed grip double Kangaroo lift scheduled to operate. Kangroo is still fun.
