NOAA: Up to 22″ of Snow for Teton Range, Wyoming This Weekend NOAA is has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Tetons in Wyoming this weekend. They’re saying that up to 22″ of new snow could fall by Saturday night. Game on in the Tetons. Grand Targhee opened today and Jackson Hole opens next week. 3-Feet of New Snow in the Alps Today | Photo Tour: A snowstorm came down hard on the European Alps yesterday. Today, they awoke to up to 3-feet of new snow in parts of Autsria and beyond. This early season storm is the result of the remains of hurricane Gonzalo. It pounded the alps yesterday with winds up to 90mph and snow levels as low as 2,500-feet. As you can see from these photos, certain parts of the alps got dumped on – mainly Austria. Baker did nothing but go off with snow. Mt. Baker now has a 163″ – 143″ base right now.
