The Best Swimming Holes in CA: Far NorCal’s “Potem Falls” There is only 1 word to accurately describe Potem Falls swimming hole, “bliss”. If you enjoy swimming, rope swings, waterfalls, and exclusivity; this is the place you will be drawn to. The secluded swimming hole was worth the journey that it took to get there. After leaving the highway, a 9 mile long dirt road and long zigzag pathway finally took us into what I would consider one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever been to.
