This post is mostly a friendly reminder that as skiers and riders, we need to keep avalanches on the forefront of our minds. This is a great time of year to start planning on when you’ll be taking your next avalanche classes in 2015/16. If you’ve never taken an avalanche class, we highly recommend taking your Avy 1, even if you never go out of bounds. Avalanches happen in bounds every year and as a skier or rider, you should know how to respond.
