Utah’s Snow Cover: This Year Vs. Last Year Nearly the entire state of Utah is covered in snow right now. Basically, the 4 corners region of Utah and the Salt Lake itself are the only regions that are snow free right now. It’s been a decent early season in Utah this year. The reason that Utah is covered in snow isn’t due to large snowfall amounts, it’s really been about the cold.
